Sabr e Jameel

“Sabr e Jameel” is a photographic journey that delves into the transformative relationship between life, loss, and the spaces that memorialize our existence. Stemming from my personal experience with grief following my father’s passing, this project seeks to capture the solemn grace of cemeteries—a place of mourning turned into a sanctuary of reflection and acceptance.

Shot exclusively on 35mm Black & White Film, a Photo Zine of the project has been curated to be exhibited at the I Never Read Art Fair Festival in Basel, Switzerland in June 2024
